2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon revealed
Hyundai has unveiled the 2017 i30 Wagon ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Much like the i30 Hatchback, the wagon takes its design from Hyundai's new 'Fluidic Sculpture 2.0', blending elegance and versatility.
Also called the i30 Tourer in different regions, the front fascia of the i30 Wagon is vastly similar to that of its hatchback counterpart. It is compromised of sleek headlights, signature cascading grill and faux air vents.
Towards the back, a slightly altered rear end has been made to accommodate the longer boot along with the extended glass area. Thanks to the longer boot, the i30 Wagon is now capable of carrying 1,650 liters of luggage with the second row seats folded down, and 602 liters when they're up.
Like the standard i30, the engine options available for the wagon include both gasoline and diesel options. For gas, the 1.0-liter T-GDI (120PS) and 1.4-liter T-GDI (140PS) are the choices. Meanwhile, for the diesel options, a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel can be specified in different power output ratings.
The i30 Wagon is set to premier at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
