2017 Mitsubishi Pajero updated with VGT turbo-diesel

This year, Mitsubishi has launched several new and updated models like the Mirage and Lancer. Now, they have set their eyes on revamping their flagship SUV. For 2016, the Mitsubishi Pajero gets a boost in power thanks to a turbo upgrade for the diesel-driven model.

With it, the 4M41 turbo-diesel with Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) now produces 192 PS and 441 Nm of torque, eclipsing the non-VGT turbo-diesel's 165 PS and 373 Nm power output. Power is still transferred to a five-speed automatic transmission with manual select however.

This essentially makes the 2017 Pajero the most powerful diesel model in Mitsubishi's local lineup. The Pajero also features the Super Select 4WD-II.

Other features include: HID projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and automatic headlights.
The 3.8 liter V6 MIVEC gas engine is still available for the 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero.
